Developed by the
Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Material Science
(Bremen, Germany), this training course will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of adhesive
bonding technology. During the 40
hours of lab and classroom instruction, attendees will gain a full understanding
of the distinctive features of adhesive bonding and will be able to carry out
written and oral work instructions for using adhesives in a technically accurate
manner.
Participating
companies will get personnel trained through a proven, state-of-the-art curriculum
that is recognized throughout Europe. Many leading German firms (e.g., BMW
& Siemens) continue to send their workers though this course. The result
is a qualified workforce with a solid knowledge-base in adhesive bonding technology
that will be internationally harmonized.
The same reasons why you would not
have untrained operators weld critical parts are why you should have a
trained and qualified workforce handling adhesive bonding. Regardless of
whether you are involved in applications for automotive, industrial assembly,
medical, electronics, aerospace or construction, it is crucial to have skilled
process engineers, lab technicians, production supervisors and workers, field
technical service reps, sales engineers, etc. leading the way!
